Meet Norah, but in what order?
It's been a while since I've written, but I've had a huge life change! Last weekend I married the love of my life. The ceremony was beautiful and over all too fast.
Since I stupidly planned my wedding in conjunction with Back to School season, I haven't really had a lot of time to write. On the drive home from the wedding, I pulled out my trusty iPhone notes section because three characters were clawing at my brain.
Meet: Norah, her fiance Thomas, and Riley the guy unintentionally making everything they've worked for come undone.
As I think more about them, different scenes flash before me. The annoying part is they aren't coming in a particular order. In fact the story is all over the place. I can't decide how bad it is to write out of order, but I've got to get everything down before it leaves.
What are you thoughts on writing out of order? Am I going to have to go back and make so many edits because it doesn't go smoothly? I don't think that would be the worst thing ever.
I'm so excited to see where these characters take me.
Here's a super short sneak peak:

Here's a super short sneak peak:
“Thomas,” I said, nudging him in the back a bit. “Wake up”
He groaned at me, bleary eyed.
“Do you ever wonder what it would be like to just hop on the train?” I asked.
“You mean the damn thing that tried to keep me awake all night?” He said, rolling toward me.
“Yeah, you get used to it. But the idea of just going where it’s going..” I trailed off.
“You want to go on vacation baby?” His arm snaked around me as he murmured the question. “I’ll ask my parents what they’re planning for the summer.”
“Okay.” I told him, scooted forward and kissed his chest. I wasn’t the only person in the world with wanderlust, but I just can’t decide if it’s better to stay grounded or leap into the unknown.
